RAC inspected and approved
Before we offer your car for sale, we subject it to a rigorous examination. We check inside, outside, under the bonnet and the underneath of every single Ford Direct vehicle – we even scrutinise the tool kit in the boot.
Once a vehicle has passed our initial examination, it goes through the Ford used car reconditioning process, where any prior noted imperfections are corrected.
Next, we submit the car for an independent RAC inspection. Once it has passed, it’s issued with an RAC approved certificate containing details such as model, chassis number, registration number and mileage.
Once vehicles have been assessed, road tested and passed by the RAC engineer, they are given a thorough valet, to add the finishing touch.
Finally, we issue the vehicle with our Ford Direct security windscreen hologram – so you can be sure your purchase comes with complete peace of mind.
Ford warranty and roadside assistance
Your Ford Direct car comes with the reassurance of two years’ comprehensive, unlimited mileage warranty. This covers you against failure due to manufacturing or material defects in most original specification components.
Not only do you have the reassurance of the manufacturer’s own warranty, but there are also no limits on the number of claims you can make. Terms and conditions apply.
You also receive two years’ Ford Assistance cover, including roadside assistance, assistance at home and vehicle recovery. We can provide onward travel and car hire if you need it, too. Ford Assistance covers most European destinations, and is valid for any driver of your car, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Historically manufacturers tend to introduce price increases around the first part of the New Year. We would strongly advise our customers to place their orders early to protect themselves from any potential price increases and to ensure an early 2012 registered delivery.
